Scandinavian Airlines SAS recently declared that it will be increasing its regional network from October this year. The airline will be introducing a new route by launching direct flights between Humberside International Airport and Copenhagen Airport operating from 28Oct, 2013.
SAS stated that it will be operating weekly cheap Airfare flights five times amid Copenhagen and Humberside once a day. The airline has already placed the tickets for sale and is providing its customers cheap air tickets ranging from $161 (103 Pound) for one-way (inclusive of government taxes, fuel surcharges, airport fees and other terms and conditions applicable).
The Regional General Manager of SAS’ Western Europe said that the Humber region is a significant northern hub for the airlines. He further stated that SAS considers the region as a major area for its progress with more than five million inhabitants living within the airport’s reach. He also said that the commencement of regional service would help strengthen the ties with Denmark and the Nordic region.
